Pricing

Simple, honest pricing.

Two ways to work together, and complete transparency on both. No upsells, no hidden hours, no surprises when the invoice lands.

Most businesses go monthly: one flat rate that covers the build, hosting, updates, and support, with nothing due upfront and no contract. If you'd rather own the site outright, a one-time build is there too.

  • One-time build Custom pay once, the site is yours

Best if you'd rather own the site outright and take care of hosting yourself.

    • Custom design, no templates
    • Hand-coded, no page builder
    • The same build, start to finish
    • Code handed over at launch
    • Yours to host anywhere
    • Support and edits billed at $125/hr

Both tiers are the same build. The difference is how you pay for it, and who keeps the hosting afterwards.

What the price covers

All in, itemised.

"Everything included" is an easy thing to say, so here is the actual list. The monthly plan covers all of it for the same $150, whether it is month one or month thirty.

Included

  • Custom design, built for your business
  • Hand-written HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Hosting on a global CDN
  • SSL certificate, renewed automatically
  • Domain setup and DNS
  • Edits, sent over in plain English
  • Backups and ongoing updates
  • Core Web Vitals performance targets
  • WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility
  • SEO foundations and Search Console
  • Analytics on the actions that matter

Not included

  • Writing your copy from a blank page
  • Professional photography
  • Paid advertising spend
  • Third-party subscriptions (booking, online store)

None of these are upsells waiting to happen. If you need one, I'll tell you what it costs and who does it well, including the times when that isn't me.

If you cancel

You're never locked in.

No contract, no notice period, no cancellation fee. Tell me you're done and the billing stops. Here is exactly what happens to everything you have.

  • Your domain stays yours

It's registered in your name, not mine. You can point it somewhere else the same day.

  • Your content stays yours

Your copy, your images and your logo belong to you. Ask and I'll send the lot over.

  • The built site goes offline

The monthly fee is what pays for the build and the hosting, so when it stops, the site stops being hosted. Nothing is held over you. It just isn't running any more.

If keeping the site whatever happens matters to you, that is exactly what the one-time build is for.

Before you ask

The money questions.

  • No. It is month to month and you can stop whenever you want. There is no minimum term and no notice period to serve out.

  • Not on the monthly plan. The build is covered by the monthly price, which is the entire point of it. There is nothing to pay before the work starts.

  • You do. It is registered in your name and stays that way, whether I set it up for you or you brought it with you.

  • Send it over. A new service, a second location, a seasonal page: that is what the monthly plan is for, and the site is built so that adding one does not mean rebuilding anything around it.

  • Billing stops, your domain and your content stay with you, and the built site goes offline, because the hosting was part of what you were paying for. The section above spells it out in full.
